Cellbond have developed validated simulation models for its barriers in LS-Dyna and Radioss in collaboration with our industry partners. Model licences are distributed through ARUP and Altair.
In 2018, Cellbond began collaborating with Phitec Ingegneria, industry experts in virtual simulation and analysis based in Turin, Italy. Phitec are developing FE models of Cellbond’s Q6 and Q10 Child Crash Test Dummies, which will be available to order directly from Phitec.
We have also collaborated with German FE Specialists, ATD-Models GmbH, who have developed the simulation model of the Euro NCAP approved aPLI (advanced Pedestrian Legform Impactor). Some of the characteristics of ATD-Model’s ATD-aPLI are:
- Prestressed flesh and neoprene skin
- Technical insight through realistic geometry implementation
The FE Model of the aPLI is now available from ATD-Models GmbH .
