It was announced yesterday that Cellbond has been awarded the Queen’s Award for Enterprise for a second time.
The Queen’s Award for Enterprise is the highest award that can be given to any UK business. It recognises a company’s contribution to UK exports but also looks at its role within the local community, environmental impact and the quality of its relationships with suppliers, partners, employees and customers.
Founder and Chairman Mike Ashmead said, ‘I am delighted to tell you that Cellbond has been announced as a winner of The Queen’s Award for Enterprise 2022 in the International Trade Category for outstanding performance in export sales. Cellbond is one of just 226 organisations nationally to be recognised with a prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise. I am thrilled that, in Cellbond’s 35th year, the entire team has demonstrated to the judges that hard work, determination and the courage to take on new challenges has resulted in continuous growth in export sales and expansion overseas. We are honoured to have been chosen to receive this award and I look forward to celebrating with my team at the first opportunity. Thank you to the global Cellbond family for the effort and resilience you have shown since we first won the award in 2017. I’m proud of everything we have achieved together and look forward to seeing what the future holds.’
