Cellbond Precision Tool & Mould design team, frequently works in partnership with leading Industrial Designers and Major automotive manufacturers and has a proven track record in the timely completion of numerous development projects. These range from complex electro-mechanical devices to passive automotive safety systems.

Close collaboration with the customer at the early stages of product development, enables us to advise on the best design, material selection and product enhancement. This advice serves to reduce the costs of tool sampling, product development time, product costs and along with our policy of investment in new plant and people, optimises product quality.

Component drawings can be swiftly produced on 3D CAD and can easily be developed to produce computer visual models and solid models. Component designs are compatible with all the latest process-flow analysis software. Careful assessment of product design provides cost benefits, assured performance reliability and ensures rapid market entry.

Our team of designers, toolmakers and process engineers work closely together to ensure a smooth transition from design and FMEA via mould tool manufacture to process-capable production.

With precision engineering, mould toolmaking and plastic injection moulding under one roof, this 'one-stop' facility enables adjustments, modifications, servicing and sampling of tools to be completed in the shortest time possible.

The quality of the moulding is inextricably linked to the quality of the customer's mould tool. Investment in the best mould tool will continue to reap dividends throughout the production life of the component.

Plastic injection moulding of technically challenging components is our core business and one at which we have excelled for many years.

Our plastic injection moulding machines range from 22 tonnes to 250 tonnes clamp and shot capacity from 5 grams up to 800 grams. With such a range of machines we are able to offer unrivalled flexibility and versatility. Many of these machines are equipped with CNC controllers, offering repeated and consistent quality  day in and day out.

Cellbond demonstrates expertise in the processing of virtually every thermoplastic including the engineering grades and so-called exotics. Our Technical Management team always maintain an acute awareness of advances in this constantly developing industry and provide regular updating of training for process technicians and operators.
