Cellbond is situated in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire and specialises in design, development and manufacture of technology based composite structures for impact absorption. Cellbond provides solutions throughout a wide range of industries including Automotive, Rail and Marine.

Our strategy is to pursue a constant product development programme and to expand our product range in all fields of energy absorption, including deformable aluminium honeycomb crash test barriers

Cellbond have a sales office in the USA and is represented via agents in Japan, Korea and China.

Cellbond have been involved in the field of energy absorption and vehicle safety testing since the company was established in 1988.

Crash Test Barrier

We offer a full range of aluminium honeycomb deformable crash test barriers that include both frontal and side impact barriers. All standard barriers are supported by FE models that are also commercially available. In addition we also offer a range of energy absorbing materials from the standard aluminium honeycomb absorber to the highly customised PressLoad absorber and we draw on our experienced R&D team to carry out component testing using our in-house test facilities and tailor solutions for individual applications. Our range of Automotive products also include Pedestrian Headforms and Knee Ligaments and more products are in development.
