13/11/2006. Success At The Hunts Post Awards 2006

Cellbond attended the Hunts Post Business Awards again this year and after being short listed for both categories entered we are pleased to announce that we were awarded second place in the ‘Business Development’ Award and Mike Ashmead won ‘Business Person Of The Year’. The judges congratulated us on our knowledge and awareness of our competitors and our exploration of new and existing markets.

For the second year running Cellbond has been awarded in the Hunts Post Business Awards. This year we won the first prize in the category 'Innovation 2005' with the product PressLoad.

16/11/2004. Manufacturer of the year 2004

We are very proud to announce that Cellbond has won the award of Manufacturer of the year in the Hunts Post Business Awards 2004. It is the first time the Hunts Post has awarded a Manufacturer of the year. For this particular award the judges were looking for: a manufacturer that can demonstrate how it is leveraging the links between production and its other activities to create unique value and innovation. Tom Stevens, judge and industrial fellow at the Institute for Manufacturing at the University of Cambridge, which sponsered this award, said: "Cellbond has a vision that is helping the company to focus on growth and high performance in terms of quality and delivery. Exploiting a gap in the market, created when a major manufacturer withdrew from the UK, Cellbond is proving that manufacturing and exporting is possible from this region."

12/12/2000. Deloitte and Touche Fast 50 accolade

In 1998-1999 and 1999-2000 Cellbond was awarded the Deloitte and Touche Fast 50 accolade, given to the fifty fastest growing companies in the Eastern region of the UK.

11/12/2000. Small Firm Merit Award

We have also achieved a Small Firm Merit Award for Research and Technology (SMART).
