Encocam - going Green!
30 January 2012.
Chamilla has been working on a water saving project at the Blackstone Site. It was found that ¾ of water from total water consumption in Blackstone Road goes into the Etch Bay Rinse tanks. This water is worth £4,940 per annum from our utility bills compared to the total water cost per annum, £6,321. Chamilla is delighted to report that the Etch Bay water saving project is completed. All the equipment is now up and running. The installed system will save about £4,341 per year from our water bill and an additional £3,244 from the trade effluent charge. This will be a saving of around 68% from our total water consumption. Because of the huge saving, the payback period will be as short as four and a half months.
