It has been involved in the field of energy absorption and vehicle safety testing since its establishment in 1988.

Cellbond offers a full range of aluminium honeycomb deformable crash test barriers including both frontal and side impact barriers. All standard barriers are supported by commercially-available FE models. In addition the company offers a range of energy absorbing materials from the standard aluminium honeycomb absorber to the highly customised PressLoad absorber. Cellbond draws on its experienced R&D team to carry out component testing using in-house test facilities. Solutions can be tailored for individual applications. The range of Automotive products available includes Pedestrian Headforms and Knee Ligaments and more products are in development.
